These Are the Voyages... Enterprise Edition
This is a fanedit of the Star Trek Enterprise episode s4e22: These Are the Voyages... The key change with this fanedit is the removal of *ALL* images and dialogue of Riker and Troi and any Next Generation set shots. It was appalling to have them show up in the Enterprise finale and the flashback story had no momentum. So the Demons/Terra Prime 2 parter ends up being a much better finale and These Are the Voyages... becomes the worst last episode in Star Trek history. For this fanedit, great effort was put into making the transitions smooth but the viewer will notice some cuts, audio fades, missing dialogue, video cropping and video cross-fades. The best thing about These Are the Voyages... is Jeffrey Combs who once again guest stars as Shran. Plus, removing the Next Gen parts does improve the Enterprise story and let some good moments through.

Changes:
* Removed most of the breaks and fades for commercials except for right after Trip's death (which is strangely short at a mere 1/2 second)
* Raised the volume 4db with no clipping since the source was very quiet
* Moved the opening credits to the very start
* Changed the opening music to the instrumental "Archer's Theme" instead of the original "Faith of the Heart" which has lyrics
* Removed all images and sounds of Riker and Troi and any set shots from Next Generation; Riker is on the bridge in some scenes but you don't see his face, just his back
* Completely removed every scene with Riker as Chef
Notes:
* There is a small overlay logo in the lower right, it's not very obtrusive like some logos. Nothing can be done for this until the Blu-Ray comes. Tricks to mask logos usually make it more noticeable.
* Big thanks to reliant1 for the 720p 5.1 capture of s4e22.
* The source video looks good but is not the best so please be patient if the 720p quality isn't the greatest. Once the Blu-Ray is available a pristine fanedit can be done.

bsg4you is happy to present v3 of The Face Of The Enemy webisodes from Battlestar Galactica in a single 33minute 53second file with improved video and audio quality in comparison to v2.
The story is powerful, both Gaeta (Alessandro Juliani) and Sweet Eight (Grace Park) do great jobs and we finally find out what Baltar whispered into Gaeta\'s ear in the brig that made him attack Baltar. This is best viewed in between s4e11 and s4e12. Since the parts are all strung together some unneeded establishing shots were cut as were some overlapping clips.
v3 improvements over v2:
* The conversion from the flv files (AVC/AAC) to editable ts files (MPEG2/AC3) was done with FFcoder for v3 with much better results
* Output from the MPEG2 editor was lossless for the video; no video re-encoding occurred with v3 so the video quality was maintained
* Final video bitrate for v3 is 2329Kbps vs 1900Kbps for v2
* All sound transitions were greatly improved in v3 since the audio was demuxed into its own track on 2 timelines. In v2 editing problems prevented demuxing.
* Removed 1 corrupt and several duplicate frames (these bugs in the source are very hard to notice at 30fps)
* Added about 2seconds of audio from a line-in capture of a different source so the music fades out instead of stopping suddenly like in the main source
Technical notes:
The source was 1600Kbps 720p so it doesn\'t look great for HD but it should look better than most/all other versions. Until The Face Of The Enemy is officially released or a higher quality is available on the Internet, The.Face.Of.The.Enemy.webisodes.v3 fanedit should be the highest quality option.

Blood.and.Chrome.Wondercon.Trailer.Extended.BluRay is a extended edition of the frame by frame remake of the fantastic Blood & Chrome teaser trailer that was shown at Wondercon 2012.03.16 at the end of a panel discussion by Kevin Grazier, the BSG science advisor.
The Original.BluRay version is only 90seconds long so the Immigrant Song is cut from about 150seconds to 90 to accommodate the clips from Blood & Chrome. This Extended.BluRay version has the complete Immigrant Song with the Original.BluRay clips at the same times along with over 100 extra clips for the new parts of the song. To fill this void, bsg4you edited a version of the trailer using the best 1080p video available (very low bitrate though) with enhanced audio. The trailer leaked with mono 72Kbps AAC audio and the new bsg4you version (now about 1 year old) had stereo 165Kbps AAC sourced from lossless flac - the sound was much, much better but the video still did not look that good ... until now!
Blood.and.Chrome.Wondercon.Trailer.Extended.BluRay is a version with not only slightly improved audio over the older enhanced version but also Blu-Ray quality 1080p video. Over 160 clips from the original trailer were assembled frame-by-frame from the Blu-Ray in the identical order and over 100 clips were added so that a Blu-Ray quality version of the original with another minute of video and music can now be enjoyed. The Blu-Ray video is sharper, darker, has much higher contrast and better color than the origianl leaked trailer. Plus, the sound was converted from lossless flac to 384Kbps AC-3 which should be a slight improvement over the 165Kbps AAC edit released almost exactly a year ago.

This clip did not seem to make it to the final edit since it\'s not in the webisode or Blu-Ray. Please post a comment with the timecode if it\'s in the Blu-Ray.

* a few clips had to be shifted left or right a few frames since the final release edit changed since the Wondercon edit
* 1 clip had some credits obscured (red letters on black, easy to hide)
* an adjacent clip was used for 1 clip that had credits in it that could not be obscured (red letters on a light background)
* the text at the end (but not the final B&C logo) was redone with the editor\'s text input tool so it should appear much sharper than the Wondercon edit

This is the spectacular White Stripes concert Under Blackpool Lights filmed at The Empress Ballroom, Blackpool, England, January 27 and 28, 2004. The show was shot with super 8 and 16mm film cameras for a grainy look that matches the music\'s punk blues, 70s hard rock vibe. These films were edited to a PAL DVD with 3 soundtracks: 2.0 LPCM, 5.1 AC3 and 5.1 DTS. This mkv ONLY has the DTS soundtrack.
Video: the source is quite grainy to start with so a fairly high Handbrake RF setting of 22.5 was used and the final output compares almost identically to the PAL DVD source.
Audio: to produce the absolute best audio quality, DTS passthrough was used so the soundtrack is the exact DTS track from the PAL DVD with no re-encoding. If there\'s trouble with the mkv\'s sound, get a player with DTS support built in like PotPlayer or VLC.

These are the highest quality versions I\'ve found of Rick Rodericks fantastic, out of print philosophy courses he did for The Teaching Company in the early 90s. His passionate, funny, insightful teaching style makes very serious and potentially boring and depressing topics into easily digestible, even fun lectures. Rick was a great teacher and good person who never let the "system" impede his teaching and being who he was.
The source audio for Philosophy and Human Values and Self Under Siege was taken from videos and have very good quality audio. The source audio for Nietzsche and the Post-Modern Condition is the best mp3 set of the two on the Internet.
The music and introductions were removed except for 2 in Nietzsche and the Post-Modern Condition. A 1 second header and 3 second tail was added to each file and the audio was normalized so the volume levels are consistent.

Athena.and.Helo.v2 is a 1080p video, 5.1 surround sound audio TRUE FANEDIT of Battlestar Galactica 2003-2009 that includes all of Athena's story and her relationship with Helo. Some Helo material is included that doesn't directly relate to Athena, for example Helo's time with Boomer in the miniseries and most of The Woman King story. All scenes where Athena has a line and almost every frame of when Athena was on screen is included. Additionally, Athena.and.Helo.v2 includes all non-Boomer Eights that are on the Galactica or around Helo, e.g. Rebel Eight from The Hub, the construction worker Eights, etc. This began as an edit with every Battlestar Galactica scene Grace Park was in and developed into Athena.and.Helo and Boomer.and.Chief. There is a standalone release for The Face Of The Enemy webisodes. Compared to Athena.and.Helo.v01, Athena.and.Helo.v2 is much more carefully edited, has fewer editing and encoding errors, has 448Kbps instead of 320Kbps audio, and the video and audio quality are better with v02 since Handbrake was used.

Catwoman FANEDIT is a version of Batman Returns 1992 that just focuses on Selina Kyle and Catwoman\'s story. Selina is a struggling secretary, actually an administrative assistant. She\'s trying to make it in Gotham on her own but can\'t get anywhere with work or love. Everything changes when she uncovers wrong doing by her boss, the powerful and ruthless Max Shreck. Now Selina is taking matters into her own hands as Catwoman, a tough, mercurial vigilante, taking no sides but her own. Catwoman is both combative with and attracted to Batman and at times she\'s allies with the Penguin. Torn by her old world and what she\'s become, Selina stumbles forward with her human life going on a date with Bruce Wayne while also lashing out at Batman because of her inner demons.
The Batman Returns Catwoman incarnation was a masterpiece of writing, directing and, most of all, acting by the incomparable Michelle Pfeiffer. Her acting is perfect for this dual role of conflicted secretary who\'s boss tried to kill her and the unpredictable and dangerous Catwoman. Even as Selina, her range is excellent - for example her anxious nervousness pouring coffee at the Shreck/Mayor meeting to her commanding entrance the next day at the end of the Shreck/Wayne meeting. After her fall and rebirth Selina could now exhibit complete command of a room as she exuded total confidence along with a baffling charm and beauty that stunned both Shreck and Wayne. Pfeiffer played this perfectly.
Michelle\'s voicing and body language as Catwoman couldn\'t have been better. She could savagely beat a mugger and then scold the mugging victim for being such an easy target and then waiting for some Batman to save her. Catwoman\'s romp through Shreck\'s Department store, alternately vandalizing the store, skipping rope with her whip and scaring off security guards was very cat like, playful and dangerous. Her flipping out across the street to breathlessly say "meow" to Batman and Penguin right before the store explodes is another great example of Michelle playing the unpredictable cat just right. And Michelle\'s sexy, slinky body language in that cat suit plus her deep, sultry voice were mesmerizing.
Selina and Catwoman\'s flirting, dating and fighting with Bruce and Batman are just wonderful. This is without a doubt the best on screen chemistry for any Batman relationship. Keaton is excellent on the receiving end of Selina and Catwoman\'s roller-coaster of intense attraction and violent conflict. The dialogue and acting for Selina and Bruce at the ball and Catwoman and Batman at the climax in Arctic World really cements this couple as the best ever in the Batman big screen universe.
CHANGES:
- Everything with Selina/Catwoman was kept including some solo Wayne and Shreck scenes talking about her.
- Some establishing shots were kept as were some spacing scenes like the Shreck/Wayne meeting and the Batman/Strong Man encounter.
- Most of the Penguin\'s storyline is removed though he\'s there for talks with Catwoman and at his speech as Selina glares in disgust and anger at the two men who tried to kill her.
- The credits were completely replaced by a 7min 35sec clip montage of Selina and Catwoman set to the Siouxsie And The Banshees song Face To Face that played at the ball while Selina and Bruce danced. The song is looped since there were so many great clips to include. Also, the song volume is lowered and the movie soundtrack unmuted during some great Catwoman and Selina lines and excellent dialogue, especially with the clips at the end like "I would love to live with you in your castle ... forever, just like in a fairy tale" - she suddenly claws Batman - "I just couldn\'t live with myself, so don\'t pretend this is a happy ending!"

THE CAGE MATERIAL IS MOSTLY REMOVED IN THIS FANEDIT
This is a FANEDIT of Star Trek The Original Series episodes s01e11 and s01e12: The Menagerie. This fanedit\'s main change is removing most of The Cage portions of the two videos. If a viewer is watching the series in order, The Cage would come first and shortly after The Menagerie would repeat most of material from The Cage. If a viewer just wanted to watch the new material in The Menagerie, this fanedit should work nicely. The source was from the remastered Blu-Rays, 1200x900 DTS. This is the version with the much nicer special effects and generally looks very good.
CHANGES:
- Almost all of The Cage material is removed except when zooming in and out of the hearing view screen, when someone is doing voice over or for a few seconds to make a smooth edit
- Establishing shots were retained since they contain the remastered special effects
- The opening music/credits for s01e12 part2 were removed
- The s01e12 part2 opening that summarizes s01e11 part1 with Kirk\'s narration was retained since it has some new footage and Kirk\'s voice over is new but the end of the summary was was removed since it lacks new footage or dialogue
- Both end credit sequences were retained but placed at the end of the fanedit with s01e11 part1 first and s01e12 part2 second
- Commercial breaks/fades were mostly removed except for the pause after the opening credits and a couple of fade ins
- Note, the source volume level is fairly low but was unchanged during the editing so it\'s consistent with the other episodes

If yes, this 106 page FANEDIT of Detective Comics Pipeline should be very enjoyable. Pipeline consists of 2 chapters and spans 11 issues of Detective Comics from 854 (2009-08) to 865 (2010-07). Pipeline follows up on Renee\'s big adventure with The Spectre, her former partner Crispus Allen, in Final Crisis: Revelations (2007-2008). Pipeline shows Renee again traveling the world to combat slavers and finally encounter a terrible old enemy. The Huntress (Helena Bertinelli) joins up with Renee and battles along her side to the end. As is typical, Renee leaves Helena to ponder a final tantalizing Question at the end. This is the last of Renee\'s starring roles in the Pre-Flashpoint New Earth era - hopefully DC will bring Renee back soon.

THIS FANEDIT ONLY INCLUDES HOLLY ROBINSON\'S AND HARLEEN QUINZEL\'S STORY FROM COUNTDOWN
Do you like the DC Comics character Holly Robinson (Selina Kyle\'s best friend, roommate and Catwoman for about a year)?
Do you like Harleen Quinzel (aka Harley Quinn, the Joker\'s sometimes girlfriend and partner in crime)?
If yes, this 100 page FANEDIT of Holly and Harley\'s adventures during the Countdown comic series that led up to Final Crisis should be very enjoyable. The story picks up with Holly leaving Gotham since she\'s wrongly wanted for the killing of Black Mask. While trying to make a new start in Metropolis Holly meets Harley at a very particular women\'s shelter. From there the adventure kicks into gear and they travel the world and beyond and eventually even have superpowers granted to them to battle on Apokolips. In the end Holly and Harley are back in Gotham pondering their interstellar adventure and how good it is to be home. They actually get the last panels of the entire series nicely bringing everything to a close. This is the last story starring Holly Robinson in the Pre-Flashpoint New Earth era and so far there\'s no indication she\'ll come back to the DC world. Hopefully a well written Holly can return as she\'s a great character in her own right.

Note, there were a lot of non-Holly, non-Harley panels when they are on Apokolips and in Cadmus Labs. All of their panels with dialog are included as are panels where they\'re referred to. But some of the story may jump while various supers (Donna Tory, Hal Jordon, etc) are doing things. It doesn\'t take away from Holly and Harley at all and the chaotic state of the events are well summed up by this exchange on Apokolips:

This is an ordered collection of 10 cbr comics that cover the amazing Cassandra Cain, aka Batgirl , aka Black Bat, from after her own series ended with Batgirl v1-73 2006-04 until her final DC Comics appearance in Batman Gates of Gotham 05 2011-10. Despite her own series having decent sales figures, DC decided to end it and bring Cassandra back as a villain after the One Year Later event in Robin v2-148 2006-05. This was probably the most controversial (even hated) change that DC made with One Year Later. Cassandra was (and is) very popular; she was voted Favorite Heroine 4 years in a row in the Annual Wizard Fan Awards from 1999-2003. Cass fans were shocked not only at her evil turn but also her diminished fighting skills and her new, super articulate speaking ability. DC Comics got the message from the fan uprising in forums and Cassandra web sites (including the fantastic Casstoons) and in Teen Titans 43-46 in 2007 they started to back out Cassandra\'s evil nature. With Batman and the Outsiders 01-09 in 2008, Cassandra was on her way back to the good side. Then Cass had a 6 issue mini-series in 2008-2009 that settled Slade and her father\'s bad influence on her and solidified her position in the Bat Family. She goes on to try to lead and re-form the Outsiders after Batman\'s seeming death. Finally, Cassandra shed\'s (literally) the Batgirl mantle and fights crime in Tokyo and then back in Gotham as the Black Bat. Cassandra Cain fans can only hope that DC Comics will bring her back in a good way but there\'s been no indication of her reappearance yet.
This collection consists of 4 FANEDITS and the 6 issues of Batgirl volume2 2008-2009 put in chronological order based on the events and not publication. There are a few Cassandra appearances that are not included but all of these are just cameo stand ins, e.g. she appears with a crowd of others in a single panel with no lines and no special impact on the story. Examples of this are Black Canary volume3-02 and Countdown 48, 35, 05 and Gotham Underground 07, 09 and Batgirl v3-24.
Notes:
- The stories and fights in the fanedits were condensed to just focus on Cassandra, e.g. in the Teen Titans. Also, parts of stories are omitted if they don\'t include Cassandra, e.g. Salah getting killed and Thunder being seriously injured in Batman and the Outsiders plus all of the Gates of Gotham flashbacks.
- Pages were ordered by when they happened, not when they were published or listed within an issue. This changed the ordering of World War III and Batman and the Outsiders 12, 14.
- Most text boxes that carry over from or to deleted pages have been edited out but a few were left in the 4 fanedits.
